The general operation steps for debugging the extrusion production line of 3D printing filaments are as follows:
(1)Before starting the machine, check whether the temperature control is sensitive, whether the instrument is out of order, and whether the cooling water circuit is unblocked. Usually, methods such as thermometer and cooling water are used for detection.

(2)The screw, barrel and die head of the extruder are heated according to the extruder operating procedures. After the temperature rises to the set temperature, it must be kept for about 10 minutes before starting the machine, so that the temperature of each part of the machine tends to be stable.

(3)Before starting the machine, be sure to tighten the connecting screws and bolts of each part of the die while it is still hot. Before the material is extruded, the operator must not stand in front of the die to prevent the bolt or screw from breaking and causing injury.
 
(4)At the beginning of extrusion, the screw speed should be slow, and then gradually increase to prevent damage to the parts due to overloading during startup.

(5)When starting up, add a small amount of material first, and keep the feeding balance. When feeding, pay close attention to various table values such as torque. After the material is extruded from the die and pulled on the traction equipment, the amount of material can be gradually increased until Extrude normally.

(6) When starting to draw, there should be a certain distance between the setting die and the die head to facilitate the drawing. Open the waterway (be careful not to pour water into the die head, otherwise it will cause abnormal discharge from the die head, resulting in material breakage or mold blockage), complex shapes with small cavities and multi-cavity profiles in one mold need to open the cover of the shaping mold ;After confirming that the extruded material is plasticized normally, pull the material to the tractor through the set traction rope. Shorten the distance between the setting table and the die head, cover the cover, start the vacuum pump, and when the extrusion speed and the pulling speed are basically balanced, observe the profile to be extruded normally, and then shrink the distance between the setting table and the die head to the ideal value.

(7)If it is found that the parison is not formed at the entrance end of the shaping die or the inner rib is adhered to the inner cavity surface of the profile, a pointed tool can be used to poke a few small points at the unformed part of the parison or the inner rib at the entrance end of the first shaping die. The hole makes the small cavity communicate with the atmosphere, and the parison is open when it enters the setting die, which is convenient for forming a negative pressure and makes the parison tightly adhere to the mold wall of the setting die.

(8)In case of blockage (not blocked), the setting table should be moved back immediately or the traction speed should be increased, or the above two schemes should be implemented at the same time, and then the process should be adjusted to resume normal production. If it has been blocked and the implementation of the above plan is invalid, the shaping table should be moved back immediately, and the material should be shoveled along the shaping die, the moisture of the shaping die should be closed, the traction speed should be reduced, and the profile should be slowly pulled out of the shaping die. If some of the profiles are broken in the shaping die, the shaping die needs to be disassembled, and the residual material should be completely removed.

(9)When the machine is stopped, it is generally necessary to add the stop material first to extrude the production material in the machine, and then stop the machine and disassemble the die head while it is still hot for mold cleaning.
