Why does the extruder extrude the material intermittently?
The main reason is that the temperature control of the barrel and screw is unreasonable and the flow rate of the molten material cannot meet the requirements.
1. The blockage of the spreader plate and filter mesh makes the moving resistance of the material large, resulting in a greatly reduced axial movement speed of the material in the screw groove, which will cause the phenomenon that the material cannot be extruded.
2.The temperature control of the barrel and screw is unreasonable. The temperature is too high or too low. If the temperature of the barrel is too high, the material in contact with the barrel will melt, which will easily cause the material to overheat and decompose. If the screw temperature is too low, it will cause the material and the barrel to slip and not be extruded.
For the above problems, there are the following solutions:
1. Lower the barrel temperature.
2. Reduce the flow rate of cooling water of the extruder screw and increase the temperature of the cooling water.
3. Regularly clean and replace the spreader plate and filter mesh.
